It is now time for another BFSA project. Since our first shipment of 25,000 whole Spanish Bibles to Missionary Don Rich in Cajamarca, Peru in 2012, he has received two more shipments, for a total of 75,000 good, vinyl-covered, whole Spanish Bibles. And, through his contacts, a missionary or national pastor in every Spanish- speaking country on the continent of South America has been given Bibles. To God be the glory! We can rejoice, knowing that the Word of God will not return void and that many in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela (with a combined population of over two-hundred-million souls for whom Christ died), who had never owned a Bible, now have their own copy.

The intertwined history of the preservation of the Spanish and English Bibles.
In researching for this book, I was fascinated with how much the stories of the Spanish and English Bibles intertwine. There is a good reason for this. The history of all preserved Bibles starts out the same way. God made choices throughout history, of a people (Israel), of original languages (Hebrew and Greek), and of how He would preserve His words (through faithful believers, not through doubting scholars). That is why the first part of this book is virtually the same as the English book, Did the Catholic Church Give Us the Bible?

Praise the Lord Bibles have now been distributed in Peru! A container of Bibles from Victory Baptist Press arrived in March to be distributed in Peru. Missionary Don Rich has delivered over 2000 Bibles to pastors that had been waiting for the Bibles to arrive. They also delivered Bibles in Ecuador for 3 different works. Almost 3000 Bibles total were delivered! Praise the Lord for these Bibles that have gone out!
There is a new book out by Emanuel Rodriguez, God’s Bible in Spanish. You can pickup a copy here.
How God preserved His words in Spanish through the RVG
For me to lead souls to Christ I need a Bible. I have learned that not just any Bible will do. I want a Bible that is completely accurate, with nothing missing. In 1602 God provided the Spanish-speaking world His precious words in the Reina-Valera Bible.
However, after 1602, modernistic, ecumenical Bible societies got their hands on our Received Text-based Protestant Bible in Spanish and corrupted it by incorporating Alexandrian Critical Texts.
For several years, I was puzzled over which Spanish Bible I should use. They all had problems. I prayed that God would raise up some brave Hispanic Bible believer to revise the Reina-Valera Bible by replacing the corruptions with pure readings that reflected the Received Texts.
God answered my prayer. This book reveals the history behind the making of the Reina-Valera Gómez Bible (RVG) and expresses the true motives and desires that drove this work.
Following this fascinating history is a 44 page chart showing the corruptions that found their way into our Bibles, and how they are corrected in the RVG.
